This beach of fine sand stretches alongside a stream, and the area has several attractive features for the visitor: its history, the scenery and the nearby caves of Artà. The stream is home all year round to ducks and seabirds. Canyamel´s tourist area is on the seafront, around the area of marshland that the stream forms as it runs into the sea.
